Interchange Background
If you have ever run a small business, you are likely familiar with the concept of "interchange." This is the fee you are charged by your processor every time a customer pays with a debit card or credit card. Part of this fee goes to the issuer of the card. When you use Hydrogen’s platform, the issuer is you!
Hydrogen Interchange Rates
Hydrogen pays out the highest interchange rates in the embedded finance industry. The more you spend on the cards, the higher your interchange revenue share is! Plus, we have amazing merchant funded rewards.

On-Ramp and Off-Ramp Background
Whenever a cryptocurrency quote is produced, there is a small spread applied by the liquidity provider. This will vary between stablecoins and non-stablecoins. For example, with a USDC purchase, a 0.50% spread may be charged, while a BTC purchase may have a 1.0% spread. When Hydrogen users on-ramp (purchase crypto) and off-ramp (sell crypto to make a purchase) there will be a spread.
Hydrogen On-Ramp and Off-Ramp Share Percentages
Hydrogen shares 50% of any revenue that is received by liquidity providers for on-ramps and off-ramps. For example, if 0.5% is charged, then 0.25% will go to Hydrogen, and 0.25% will go to you.
Ramp Revenue Terms and Conditions
Our liquidity providers can change the stablecoin and non-stablecoin spreads at any time without notice. We will pay out any on-ramp and off-ramp revenue to your reserve account or local bank account within 30-days of the end of each calendar quarter. You will be responsible for filing and paying all local, state, and federal taxes related to the revenue you receive.
